Popcorn is a modern Norwegian furniture classic designed by Sven Ivar Dysthe in 1968.
The chair was designed and introduced for the opening of the Henie Onstad Art Centre and has distinguished itself through its distinctive form and unique construction. Popcorn features a natural rocking motion in the base, is stackable, and can easily be hung on tables to simplify cleaning.

Sven Ivar Dysthe (1931–2020) is considered one of Norway’s most influential designers and, throughout his career, created several products that are now regarded as furniture classics. The collaboration between Fora Form and Dysthe dates back to the early 1960s, when he designed products such as Planet and Popcorn.
Planet is perhaps one of Dysthe’s most well-known designs and remains a product that Fora Form is proud to include in its portfolio. For his outstanding work, he received numerous national and international awards, and in 2010, he was appointed “Knight, First Class” of the Royal Norwegian Order of St. Olav.
