Our history
Inspired by Japanese armor with overlapping elements, Con is a sleek chair series where the combination of different materials defines its design expression. With three different base options, two material choices for the back, and the possibility of armrests, Con is a chair for those who love to play with material, color, and finish.

Con is designed by Lars Tornøe
In recent years, Lars Tornøe has become one of Fora Form’s key collaborators and has designed several well-known products, including Fjell, Kvart, and Tind. Tornøe was born in Düsseldorf, Germany, and holds a master’s degree in furniture and interior design from the Bergen Academy of Art and Design.
Tornøe has established himself as a strong and talented furniture designer in Scandinavia and currently collaborates with some of the most established brands in the Nordic region. For Fora Form, Tornøe is perhaps best known for the Fjell chair, the Kvart table, and Fjell was recognized with DOGA’s Award for Design Excellence in 2017.
