Previously, the interaction between the crowd and the lecturer was the focus of good auditoriums. Lecturers developed favorite auditoriums a lot based on this interaction. Which auditoriums gave good, engaged students? Digitization also changes the way we acquire knowledge. Today, the lecture often comes as a file in advance of the actual use of the auditoriums. Today's lecture halls therefore changes to a discussion arena where the interaction and discussions between the students are as important as the traditional orientation towards the lecturer in front.

By changing the focus of a lecture hall from forward orientation to fellow students, most things change at the auditorium. The chairs, the writing board, the mounting - everything is controlled by how the users orient themselves in the auditorium.

Ferco Seating has developed a number of different educational auditoriums with opportunities for new focus to the side. The different solutions all have different degrees of interaction, where to mount the chairs and table geometry.

Designed specifically to complement evolving teaching methods, the Ferco Collaborative Wave ™ is a unique seating system designed to encourage student engagement. Wave has a pod of four or five contoured seats that are placed around a uniquely curved desk, allowing students to seamlessly engage in student-to-student and student-to-student learning experiences through their innovative construction.

Each of the ergonomic seats moves away from the writing surface and rotates independently on a high-strength steel arm - in addition to automatically returning to its original position when unoccupied; while the curvature of the table creates a larger work surface than existing configurations and ensures sufficient room for maximum productivity.

Building an auditorium is not just about choosing a chair type. For us in Fora Form, the project begins around what the user should experience in the auditorium: A conference room often has functional requirements such as a writing board and interaction with the lecturer, while a cultural hall is about sitting well to enjoy the experience. A number of the building requirements are the same, but the purpose of the hall determines the choice of chairs and functionality to give the user the best possible experience.

The visitor's experience will be enhanced by the general aesthetics, optimal comfort, easy access and most importantly, a clear and unobstructed view. In addition, the auditorium chairs should be attractive, comfortable and functional. Our collection of auditorium chairs offers customizable features such as the integrated Wrimatic ™ A3 desk, cup holders, personalized embroidery and various upholstery features.
